Shangri-La Wine Company (Diqing, Yunnan)

In 2000, Shangri-La Wine Co., Ltd. was established in the Diqing Shangri-La Green Industry Park, where the first batch of wine grapevines—Cabernet Sauvignon—were planted.

The Shangri-La vineyards are located at the junction of Yunnan, Sichuan, and Tibet, situated in the Hengduan Mountains at the southern edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, within the core area of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage site known as the "Three Parallel Rivers" (Jinsha River, Nujiang River, and Lancang River).

The Shangri-La vineyards are distributed across 126 villages along the banks of two rivers, spanning over 300km, at elevations ranging from 1,700m to 3,000m.
For more than 20 years, Shangri-La Wine Co., Ltd has had over 200 employees dedicated to this region, guiding more than 2,800 ethnic minority families in managing approximately 14,000 acres of vineyards.

In recent years, the company has refined 10 sub-regions within the Lancang River and Jinsha River basins (including villages such as Sinong, Xidang, Rongzhong, Mingyong, Jiunongding, Dongshui, Dongwang, Jiangpo, and others). They have established over 1,000 acres of premium small-region vineyards to develop high-end products.
