Founded in 1822 by Pefro Domecq Lembeye in Jerez de la Frontera. One of the 17 members of the exclusive group of 'Historic Riojan Wineries'. The famous 'Glorioso' brand first vintage created in 1917. Consulted by the prestigious winemaker Michael Rolland created the style of it's 'Vino de Autor' as the modern Rioja's wine.

Entering the D.O.Toro region with Finca Anzil and D.O. Rueda with Caserio de Duenas, a 4 centuries unique estate as well as El Aeronauta, lees-aged single varietal Godella in D.O. Valdeorras.

In 2014, Bodegas Cosme Palacio took the first place in Spain and the 16th in the world in the annual ranking of the International Federtion of Wine and Spirits Journalists and Writers. Almudena Alberca, Spain's first female Master of Wine, took on the role of Winemaking Director to add value, creating honest, high-quality wines.

Cosme Palacio Crianza 2017 was selected as the 'Best Crianza Red' to represent the wines from this ageing category of the D.O.Ca. Rioja. In Parallel, Cosme Palacio featuring in James Suckling's 'Top 100 Wines of Spain' Rankings.
